Did you know that nearly half of Florida’s third-grade students are not able to read on grade-level? Nationally, one in six children cannot read proficiently, leading to a life of academic, career, and financial struggles.

Join us in being part of the solution by volunteering. Join a team of students, teachers, parents, and community members on a mission to end the illiteracy trend through the Winning Reading Boost program.

In just one to two hours per week, you can help change the course of a child’s life by helping them learn to read.

Winning Reading Boost needs volunteers to join our teams at Alachua County schools.

Winning Reading Boost is a lifeline to these children, teaching struggling students to read in just 90 days.  This unique program is built around carefully sequenced, systematic and explicit phonics instruction using sing-alongs, games, charts and stories to produce confident readers.
